A not-for-profit, acute-care community hospital in south central Connecticut has an opening for a Nocturnist. It is licensed for about 297 beds and has earned many accolades, including its sixth consecutive Magnet designation for nursing excellence from the American Nurses Credentialing Center. About the Opportunity:

• 12 shifts per month. 36 hours weekly
• Shift times are 4 pm-4 am and 7 pm-7 am
• Admit in collaboration with Advanced Practice Providers, consult with specialists, respond to RRTs and codes, and cross-cover patients on some nights
• Perform pre-operative assessments and co-manage surgical patients
• EPIC EMR
• Closed ICU
• No procedures
• High base salary along with a signing bonus
